KAVAL MOTO – RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL
These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of motorcycles and related equipment provided by Kaval Moto. By making a reservation, the renter acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY
To rent a motorcycle from Kaval Moto, the rider must:
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid motorcycle licence for a minimum of 1 year.
• Present a valid passport, national ID card, and motorcycle driving licence before vehicle collection.
• Comply with all Moroccan traffic laws and regulations.
Kaval Moto reserves the right to refuse a rental if these requirements are not met.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A refundable security deposit of 1,200 MAD is required before vehicle handover.
The deposit may be used to cover:
• Traffic fines.
• Missing accessories or equipment.
• Fuel discrepancies.
• Damages not covered by insurance.
• Administrative fees resulting from misuse of the vehicle.
The remaining balance of the deposit will be returned after inspection of the motorcycle.
INSURANCE
All motorcycles are covered by third-party liability insurance in accordance with Moroccan regulations.
The renter remains responsible for:
• Damages to the rented motorcycle.
• Damages resulting from negligence, misuse, reckless riding, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
• Costs not covered by the insurance provider.
MOTORCYCLE USE
The motorcycle must only be operated by the renter named in the rental agreement.
The following are strictly prohibited:
• Racing or competitive events.
• Dangerous or reckless riding.
• Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Allowing unauthorized persons to ride the motorcycle.
• Using the motorcycle for illegal activities.
OFF-ROAD RIDING
Off-road riding is permitted on suitable and established riding tracks only.
The renter must inform Kaval Moto before undertaking any off-road itinerary.
Extreme off-road use, dune riding, racing activities, or any terrain likely to cause abnormal damage to the motorcycle may result in additional charges.
RENTAL PERIOD
The motorcycle must be returned on the agreed date and time.
Late returns may incur additional rental charges.
If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, Kaval Moto must be notified in advance and approval must be obtained.
MILEAGE
Unlimited mileage is included with all rentals unless otherwise specified in writing.
PICK-UP & RETURN LOCATIONS
Standard pick-up and return locations:
• Casablanca Airport
• Nouaceur
• Marrakech
• Rabat
Delivery and collection services may also be arranged throughout Morocco upon request and subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply depending on the location.
RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled rental start date.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the rental start date may be subject to administrative fees.
EQUIPMENT & ACCESSORIES
Motorcycles may be supplied with optional accessories including:
• Helmets
• Panniers
• Top boxes
• Luggage systems
• Other touring equipment
The renter is responsible for returning all supplied equipment in good condition.
ACCIDENTS, DAMAGE & THEFT
In the event of an accident, theft, attempted theft, or damage to the motorcycle, the renter must:
• Contact Kaval Moto immediately.
• Contact local authorities when required.
• Provide accurate details regarding the incident.
Failure to report an incident may result in additional liability.
TRAFFIC FINES
The renter is solely responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, toll charges, and penalties incurred during the rental period.
VEHICLE CONDITION
The motorcycle is delivered in good working condition.
The renter agrees to return the motorcycle in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear resulting from ordinary use.
LIABILITY
Kaval Moto shall not be liable for:
• Personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged.
• Delays caused by weather, road conditions, mechanical breakdowns, or events beyond its control.
• Costs resulting from interruptions to travel plans.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to Moroccan jurisdiction.
